Violet represents another one of our combinations of European and American OES lines. Her father is UK, International, European, Greek, Austrian, Hungarian, Croatian, German VDH and DOESC Champion Aryakas Cosmo Junior. We first saw CJ at the OESCA Bicentennial show in 2005 as a young dog. He caught our attention from clear across the room. We have had so much fun watching his co-owners Elizabeth Antl and Nikolas Kanalas winning pretty much everything there is to win in Europe with him. CJ has won the breed at Crufts, the World Show and the Euro OES Show.
Violet is the shining star at the light of a long, long tunnel. After importing CJ semen and breeding it to another one of our bitches that didn’t take, we used the semen on Ch SnowDowne Smarty Pants. We only had one puppy, Violet, but what a puppy! We knew she was special from the start.
Violet finished her championship in style, winning a 5 point major and BOW at the GPOESC morning show. We moved her up and she won BOS to our Special that won BISS at the afternoon show. We are so proud of her.
Judges have consistently commented on her balanced reach and drive, amazing coat texture, square body with a lovely length of neck, and all of this combined with a lovely headpiece. She is a hard bitch to fault.
Violet received and Award of Merit at the Old English Sheepdog Club of America’s 2011 National Specialty in North Carolina.
