Dea: Every once in a while we see a dog we just can’t do without. Artus is one of those special kind of dogs. While we were trying to find Michaela’s home in Germany, we were talking about all of our SnowDowne dogs - what we need and what we don’t need. We both agreed that we certainly did not need any more males.
Well so much for that. About 2 minutes after seeing Artus at Michaela’s house, I said “That’s a dog I could take home with me.” Michaela and Colleen were both a little surprised - but he just stole my heart. So... Artus flew to the U.S. about 2 weeks later.
We would like to thank Michaela for allowing us to have Artus. It was hard for her to let him go so far, as well as agreeing to allow us to have his tail docked.
We appreciate her sacrifice.
Michaela called Artus “George” while she had him. He reminds us so much of our George, Am/Lux Ch SnowDowne Straight Talk’N at Bugaboo, ROM. Shortly after Artus got home, George suddenly passed away. We were so sad, but Artus helps us fill that hole in our hearts a little bit.
Artus is growing up to a handsome boy. Watch for him in the show ring soon.
